What is DDR?

DDR stands for Double Data Rate and is an enhanced type of memory which allows data to be read on both the rising and the falling edge of the clock. It basically delivers more data in less time than the previous memory technologies. The Soyo SYP4I 845PE Lite uses DDR memory only.
